Bath in Autumn
These images capture the limestone splendour of Bath and its undertones of ancient Rome. Of people enjoying the freedom of the hour, or busy at work or just in contemplative thought. The power of the River Avon, as it tumbles over the weir, a river that has been there for an eternity, watching as the city changes over many periods of time. The vibrant Autumnal colours of the leaves, the azure blue of an unseasonal sky are captured in some magical images by the rays of the sun and the photographer’s use of natural light.
On a 3 day, solo, walking tour, Andrew Vincent has taken some very varied images, what the eye sees and what the light enhances – the camera had no barriers. Enjoy these special moments captured in time, images that in some cases are unique to that very second in which the shutter clicked.
