Fussen
Fussen is a small town, in which a small corner retains the charms of a typical Bavaria village with gingerbread style buildings and doorways. The decorative wall art which adorns the buildings can give the appearance of a 3 Dimensional optical illusion. The Schloss was decorated in this manner originally to give the impression of splendour and grandeur.
Nested below the gateway of the Bavaria Alps, towering above the town, stands the majestic, fairytale Schloss, Neuschwanstein, King Ludwig’s grand castle. The images show the charm of the Bavarian village of Schwangau which is home to this beautiful Schloss.
