During August 2012 I was in Anglesey for walkabout, this was for inspiration for my partner. She is in the process in creating a book (Moments in pictures and words ).  This was an opportunity to take coastal images for the book. We do like this location, it’s in a small town called  Newborough, and located at the end of the forest is a collection of sandy beaches close to  Yns Llanddwyn, which  is situated on the southern side of the island on the  mouth of the Menai Strait. The film, Half light, starring  Demi Moore was filmed at this location. The lighthouse is located on Llanddwyn island which is a point off the beach. I wanted to capture the remoteness of this location with the beauty of the Snowdonian  mountain range across the straits to the mainland.
